Supporting local businesses and employment
Accompanying businesses, developing and managing business parks, creating facilities and structuring projects that promote local employment development: this is the whole purpose of economic development, a competence assumed by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
To this end, the Metropole has set up a Pôle Attractivité Développement Économique et Emploi (PADEE) which implements the economic policy roadmap that the Metropole of Montpellier has set itself until 2030. The latter revolves around five objectives: support for employment, innovation, ecology, territorial rebalancing and the development of the local economy.
- PADEE's main mission : to support all business sectors (health, digital, agronomy and agriculture, environment, ENR, cultural and creative industries, sport, tourism, trade, crafts and wine).
