Request for display on public property

What is the right to display on the public domain?

A stall is an installation on the public domain intended to present for display or sale, any objects or foodstuffs normally sold within the business in front of which it is set up.

The authorization for temporary occupation of the public domain allows the merchant to occupy the public domain in front of his business with a stall. This authorization, issued by the City, is revocable, personal and automatically ceases in the event of the sale of the business.

Who can benefit?

Any individual or legal entity owning a business open to the public. Authorizations, by decree, last for one year: from January 1 to December 31. They are not tacitly renewed, and must be renewed each year.

Operating conditions

  • To qualify for this display right, establishments must carry out part of their business on the first floor.
  • On the stall, products must belong to the same family as those sold inside the store.
  • These stalls must not impede traffic or parking.
  • No stalls may be set up before 7am, and equipment must be removed when the establishment closes.
