How do I apply for planning permission?

There are several options:

  • File a on line at the guichet numérique
  • File a paper application at the Hôtel de Ville reception desk: 1 place Georges Frêche in Montpellier
  • File a paper application at the Hôtel de Métropole reception desk: 50 place Zeus à Montpellier
  • Send a letter to the address:
    Hôtel de Ville - Direction de l'Urbanisme Appliqué
    1 place Georges Frêche 34267 MONTPELLIER cedex 2

Important

In application of article R.423-2-1 (Decree no. 2024-1043 of the town planning code), since January 1, 2025, legal entities have been obliged to submit their town planning authorization requests digitally.
