Lane numbering
Creating numbers
Numbering is carried out and determined by municipal services and concerns newly named public or private roads open to public traffic.
The numbering procedure ends with an official publication. This publication consists of transmitting the information to several organizations, such as the land registry, the mortgage registry and the Post Office. It also informs local residents or their representatives (syndics) of the new numbering. This makes the number official and applicable in all administrative and civil procedures.
In what cases are you concerned?
- You've just built or bought a house in a new neighborhood.
- You manage a building, residence or housing estate.
- Your building is on a recently named private or public road.
- You need a civic number to receive your mail or carry out your day-to-day formalities.
You will receive a reply to your request by post.
If you wish, you can install the plaques for your new address yourself.
