Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole is involved in everything from drinking water supply to wastewater treatment, including resource preservation, aquatic environment management and flood prevention.
The entire water cycle is thus involved:
- the small water cycle, which connects our home to natural spaces;
- the large water cycle, which regulates our climate and freshwater supply.
These 2 cycles are intimately linked, and we are all players in their proper functioning: guaranteeing virtuous water management means looking after our planet.
