Theater and circus

With over a hundred active theater companies, the Metropole and City of Montpellier offer a wide choice of entertainment around theater and circus. Creation, distribution and production are ensured by emblematic establishments, such as : the Centre Dramatique National du théâtre des 13 vents and its Biennale des arts de la scène en Méditerranée ; or the concert-cafés of the théâtre municipal Jean Vilar and plays from that of La Vista.

Events also feature theater and circus, with the Le Printemps des Comédiens, Ekilibr and Saperlipopette festivals for young and old alike. New since 2024: the arrival of the Cité européenne du théâtre et des arts associés!
