Supervised activity program
All year round, the Metropole of Montpellier offers a varied program of supervised sporting activities, accessible thanks to the Montpellier Sports Card. This program is aimed at Montpellier residents of all ages and levels, with over 50 disciplines available.
Here are the options on offer for getting started, progressing, or simply practicing in a safe and suitable setting.
Annual pool activities
The Metropole swimming pool network offers a wide choice of aquatic activities, available all year round. Classes are offered as subscriptions or by the session, to adapt to the different needs and schedules of users.
Sports camps during the school vacations
During the short school vacations, the Metropole is offering sports courses reserved for holders of the Carte Montpellier Sports. These courses, tailored to children and young people in Montpellier, offer the opportunity to discover or practice physical activities in the form of intensive sessions, supervised by professionals.
To take part, it's compulsory to have a valid Carte Montpellier Sports (available at Maisons pour tous or Espace Jeunesse).
Registration is online. Please note the following conditions:
- Documents required: some courses require a 25-meter certificate or a nautical pass test.
- Equipment: sportswear and a water bottle are compulsory; meals can be taken from the bag according to instructions.
- Limited places: daily attendance is compulsory for weekly courses; one person can register a maximum of two families (his own and another).
Depending on health conditions, some activities may be cancelled or adapted.
Courses and activities in the pools
Holidays are the perfect time to discover the range of activities offered by the pool network. Special courses and activities are available during these periods for children and adults.
Summer vacation program: my summer in Montpellier
During the summer, the Mon été à Montpellier program, offers a comprehensive selection of sports and leisure activities accessible to all, enabling people to discover new disciplines and take full advantage of the Metropole's infrastructures.
This program enables residents to enjoy outdoor and aquatic activities throughout the summer, in a friendly and safe setting.
