Impulsions" call for applications: residencies for research and artistic creation

Temps de lecture : 2 minutes

Call for entries until March 21, 2025

The Metropole is launching a call for applications for "Impulsions" , a scheme to host residencies for research and artistic creation, over the period May to December 2025 for residencies in the performing arts and associated arts, across its territory in partnership with metropolitan municipalities.

The ambition is to support creation and research in favor of the performing arts and associated arts and thus contribute to fostering the diversity of artistic proposals as well as anchoring the act of creation in our territory. The Metropole wishes to welcome a greater diversity of artistic teams by opening the field to multidisciplinary projects mixing other disciplines with the performing arts.

This call for projects is aimed at artistic teams from the metropolitan area (the company's head office must be based in one of the 31 communes of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole) needing either an equipped stage or a dedicated workspace for their creative project lasting between one and three weeks. All performing arts aesthetics are eligible (theater, dance, music, circus, street arts and especially projects around the body in movement).

No theme is imposed, the principle being to highlight high-quality, meaningful artistic proposals representative of the diversity of contemporary creation.

Funding for this residency includes time for research-creation work, as well as a mediation offer aimed at local audiences, which will be implemented over the course of 2025.
