The Metropole has signed a partnership with Geovelo, a free online route planner, which facilitates travel and optimizes future developments. It provides access to all the latest information on cycling infrastructures.
Geovelo offers a wide range of tools and services tailored to users:
- Bike itinerary engine, which enables users to establish a route adapted to their priorities (speed, safety, etc.) and share it, Geovelo is a free online route planner.) and share it,
- Dynamic map to locate cycling facilities in Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole and beyond,
- Share news feeds and challenges between users,
- Company section to facilitate cycling among employees.

Le réseau des vélolignes montpelliéraines
To complete the network of existing bicycle lanes, the Réseau Express Vélo vélo, dubbed "Vélolignes Montpelliéraines", will be some 235 km long, 70% of which will be completed by 2026, linking several communes in the metropolis together.
