Sorting bulky items
Before you throw things away, think about reuse!
The Je donne au lieu de jeter platform offers, in just a few clicks, solutions for giving them a second life. For further information on reuse, go to the "Reduce my waste" section (add link to the section in question).
For certain used items, distributors are obliged to take them back, even when purchased online (for example, you can drop off your used fridge at the store where you bought it).
You then have 2 choices:
- Take back the used product when you buy an equivalent product (for example: when you buy a new fridge to replace the old one): the "1 for 1" take-back.
- Take back the used product at no cost and with no obligation to buy in return.
If not, first give preference to drop-off at a waste collection center, which limits the clutter of public space and allows for better recovery.
