Combating non-use of rights
Know your rights
More than 30% of French people do not take the necessary steps to access the rights to which they are entitled. The inhabitants of Montpellier are no exception.
Faced with this phenomenon of non-use, which can have significant social consequences and tip the households concerned into poverty or prevent them from escaping it, actions to combat non-use of rights must be developed.
Any person having difficulty accessing or asserting their social rights can be welcomed without appointment by an agent from the Montpellier Centre Communal d'Action Sociale (CCAS) Information and Orientation Point responsible for access to rights.
Agents in charge of helping people access their rights offer support and assistance in compiling files for various benefits and services (complementary health insurance -CSS, disability pension, allocation de solidarité aux personnes âgées - SASPA, revenu de solidarité active - RSA, help in drawing up quarterly income declarations for CAF or France Travail, MDPH file, etc.
).Estimate your rights
