10 days in May dedicated to books, literature and independent bookshops. This is what the Comédie du Livre offers every year.
A major event organized by the Montpellier Metropole and all the region's independent bookshops (En traits libres, La Cavale, Le grain des mots, La géosphère, Sauramps Librairie, Gibert...) since 1986.
Exhibitions, musical readings, concert readings, shows... A whole range of festivities are organized during the Comédie du Livre, which welcomes nearly 100,000 visitors to the famous Peyrou promenade every spring. The abundant program is organized around major themes: a writer's carte blanche, a publishing house in the spotlight, the exploration of European literature, youth and comics.
