We are looking for a full-time or part-time (60%) coordinating physician.

Competent in gerontology, the coordinating doctor is the guarantor of gerontological care and continuity of care: he/she provides the director with the information and medical relations necessary for the smooth running of the EHPAD's public service, and ensures the application of hygiene and prevention rules.

Vos principales missions

Develop and implement the care project with the assistance of the nursing team.
Assure coordination with other care providers external to the facility: medical visits, hospitalizations, return from hospitalization.
Assure admission visits and give an opinion allowing admission to the corresponding facility.
Elaborate the medical file and ensure that it is updated, kept up to date and used correctly.
Determine with the team the degree of dependence of the elderly person.
Participate in the development of nursing care and monitor the results of their implementation.
Ensure coordination between paramedical staff and private physicians.
Attend paramedical staff service meetings.
Facilitate meetings on hygiene, dietetics and prevention of aging.
Ensure that the free choice of the attending physician is respected.
Assist in drawing up care protocols and agreements with other healthcare establishments, monitoring the results of their implementation.
Contribute to gerontological networking.
Participate in quality procedures.
Participate in organizing and carrying out vaccination campaigns.

Contraintes particulières du poste

We have a certain flexibility in the organization of working hours.

Depending on your availability, we offer: a full-time contract attached to several EHPADs OR a part-time contract (60%) attached to just one of our EHPADs.

Permanent or contractual civil servant with a 3-year renewable fixed-term contract.

Pré-requis

- Doctorate in medicine - DESC de gériatrie, Capacité de gérontologie, D.U. de Médecin Coordonnateur en EHPAD, or a training certificate issued by an accredited organization.
