Where, when and how to get tested?
The screening video:

Colorectal cancer in figures
- One of the most common cancers: 3rd most common in men and 2nd in women.
- Detected in time, colorectal cancer is curable in 90% of cases.
Screening in figures
- 96% of tests = no abnormality detected.
- 4% of tests = blood is detected in the stool. This does not mean that the person has cancer, but further tests are required (colonoscopy by a gastroenterologist).
- Colorectal cancer screening is recommended every 2 years for people aged 50 to 74, with no particular risk factors.
If you have a personal or family history that increases your risk of colorectal cancer, talk to your doctor, who will be able to suggest the most appropriate monitoring for you.
If you have any symptoms, consult your doctor without delay.
