A competition for amateur musicians

This municipal scheme supports 3 young groups or artists from the Metropole for several months, selected by a jury of professionals. The competition is free and open to all (students, employees, jobseekers, amateur artists...).
Registrations: from Tuesday, October 1 to Friday, November 29, 2024 (closed).
Winners of the 2025 competition
Nina Bérard (Pop/ Chanson française)
Nina Bérard, a young artist from Montpellier, is an author, composer and performer with multiple influences. Accompanied by her guitar and Looper, she constructs live music in the service of her personal and universal lyrics. "Ever since I was a little girl, I've only had one thing on my mind: the lights of a concert and thousands of people together."
Kop (Urban Pop)
A multi-faceted artist, Kop is a singer-songwriter and musician from Montpellier. He started out in classical music before moving on to jazz and contemporary music. Through his urban and pop-influenced EP, he shares his doubts, dreams and hopes with his audience.
Captain Milo (Hip-hop)
Armed with his incisive pen, Captain Milo explores rarely addressed themes such as eco-anxiety, masculinities or ordinary racism, mixing theatricality and absurdity. As a rapper and producer, he moves from trap to boom bap without ever becoming attached to the notion of gender, always favoring emotion and story. Between the poetry of Oxmo Puccino, the offbeat humor of Fab Caro and the dystopias of Black Mirror, he offers an immersive musical experience, where reflection and second degree are brilliantly intertwined.
