Le Printemps des Comédiens
A month dedicated to the fields of theater and live performance. That's what Printemps des Comédiens offers every year, organized throughout June at the Domaine d'O. A major event featuring 45 shows and 130 performances to an audience of nearly 40,000.
Launched for the first time in 1987, Printemps des Comédiens welcomes the biggest European productions. Mnouchkine, Michel Bouquet, James Thierrée, Ostermeier, Zingaro, la Comédie Française, Jeanne Moreau, Cirque Plume... have all performed here.
Transmission of knowledge
The Printemps des Comédiens also aims to contribute to the development of skills and approaches for new generations of artists. To this end, since 2021, Campus workshops have been organized, in other words week-long thematic training sequences based on the confrontation and exchange of expertise, approaches, methods and practices (acting, directing, image, writing...).
