Festival des Fanfares

Every year, on a Saturday in June, Montpellier welcomes some 400 fanfarons for the Festival des Fanfares. Organized by the Arc-en-ciel des Faubourgs (ADF) association in the Beaux-Arts and Boutonnet districts, the festival brings together no less than 20,000 people to vibrate to the rhythm of the fanfares.

Objective: to organize encounters between brass bands and introduce them to the general public. Among the brass bands that played at the festival: Les loustics du Pic, Fanfare Varenkas, Amfi Fanfare, Fanfare Roller Toaster, Fanfare Gertrude....

The Festival also reaches out to the whole of the Montpellier Metropolis. An opening evening is thus organized the evening before, where each partner town or neighborhood association has the opportunity to organize an event with the arrival of an ADF brass band.
