Fête de la Musique
Every year, the Fête de la Musique takes place in emblematic Montpellier venues at the end of June: the Esplanade du Peyrou, the Maison des Chœurs, the Cité des Arts, the Hôtel d'Aurès ... For one evening, the 4 corners of Montpellier welcome artists from different horizons. Hip-hop, rap, rock, electro, jazz, gospel, funk... There's something for everyone.
Among the artists who have performed in Montpellier on the Fête de la Musique stages: Smild, Avalon Bloom, Emma Lamadji, 79rs Gang, Vocalys, Nanasso...
For fans of brass bands, several troupes stroll through the evening at the Domaine d'O. Water games, breakdance shows and other entertainment are on offer in the afternoon at the Maison pour Tous Louis Feuillade.
The event is organized by the Metropole and the City of Montpellier.
Practical information
During the event, the 4 streetcar lines finish an hour later than usual.
On the same day, a round trip on the TaM network is offered at the special rate of €2, on the M'Ticket app and in ticket vending machines located at tramway stations.
