This approach is part of a drive to develop local agricultural supply chains, notably in partnership with the Métropole, by promoting the supply of local and organic products for collective catering, in schools, nurseries and leisure centers.
Through the "Ma Cantine Autrement" program, Montpellier's food policy also aims to combat food waste and raise awareness of the importance of a sustainable diet.
By supporting these initiatives, Montpellier is asserting its position as a pioneering city in terms of food transition, while contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the development of local agriculture that respects ecosystems.
Vos principales missions
- Manage food purchases
- Monitor budget and accounting operations for food purchases
- Participate in food market tenders
- In his/her absence, replace the accounting and purchasing manager in his/her main accounting duties
