Working in the Local Public Spaces (Pep's) department means playing an active role in these achievements, in particular through the implementation of a territory-wide bicycle plan, from the development of engineering structures to local infrastructure within neighborhoods, in order to rapidly ensure an operational network that supports this dynamic.

Under the authority of the Division Manager and in liaison with the Mayors of the communes, the Green Spaces Unit Manager organizes the management of green spaces, and is responsible for supervising the teams working in these sectors, monitoring the work of contractors and acting as a technical consultant on projects.

Vos principales missions

Your main duties

  • Supervision and maintenance of the Green Spaces estate
  • Participation in the development and implementation of green space management strategies
  • Supervision of the division's activity planning and supervision of maintenance teams
  • Programming of supplies to implement the maintenance operations of its teams
  • Monitoring and controlling of work entrusted to agents and contractors
  • Defining and enforcing safety rules

Your occasional activities

  • Leading unit meetings
  • Participating in unit or sector meetings
  • Intervening in other business units in the event of peak activity or intervention in connection with the management of climatic or exceptional events

Les indispensables

Exhibiting a strong interest in the workings of local authorities, you have a good technical knowledge of green space maintenance, tree heritage, and the principles and implementation of differentiated or alternative management.
Gifted with good writing skills and the ability to summarize, you have solid managerial skills, with the ability to supervise teams, work as part of a team and in project mode in a cross-functional role.
At ease in providing expert advice to elected representatives, you know how to be a force for proposal and demonstrate good interpersonal skills, a sense of communication, negotiation and mediation.
