Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole boasts a rich and ambitious network of aquatic facilities dedicated to sports, leisure and drowning prevention. To this end, it supports aquatic practices, renovates and builds its network of pools, all in a constant quest to improve the quality of its public service.
In a few figures, the swimming pool network consists of: 15 pools and 25 basins at the end of the Plan Piscine, a total annual operating cost of 11.2 million euros, annual attendance of almost 1.3 million, including 208,741 schoolchildren and 410,662 clubs and associations, 160 permanent staff assigned to the pools.

Vos principales missions
- Supervision of sports activities - school swimming: As a member of the educational team, he/she takes part in drawing up the teaching project and in consultation meetings, and supervises and supervises teaching sessions.
- Reception and safety of the public: He/she ensures the hygiene and safety of the facility, the pools and the surrounding area. He/she is the guarantor of safety standards and internal regulations.
- Promotion of the facility: He/she takes part in all forms of activities aimed at the various publics and ensures continuity of service.
Contraintes particulières du poste
Work 1 weekend out of 3. Variable schedule depending on the period (short and long vacations). Work on 3 public holidays per year. Possibility of staggered working hours. Safety rules specific to the position (safety protocol, mandatory training).

- Cadre d'emplois des Educateurs Territoriaux des Activités Physiques et Sportives. The position is open in priority to incumbents. 7 positions are currently vacant.
- You have an excellent knowledge of the regulatory environment for aquatic activities, ERP and sports equipment.
- You know how to fit into an educational pedagogical project in line with the community's sports policy. You know how to adapt to the characteristics and specificities of the public you welcome.
- You are adept at dialogue and conflict regulation, taking initiative in emergencies.
- First aid and resuscitation skills are a must.
