The work began in early January 2003 and was completed in May 2003.
The fountain comprises a circular basin 16 m in diameter including three statues (the ephebes previously installed on the Place de la Comédie), coping stones, a patinated bronze basin, 3 bubbling jets and 24 parabolic jets.
Lighting enhances it at night.
