Christmas in solidarity

At a time when the festive season is synonymous with conviviality, the city of Montpellier and its associations are not forgetting those in the most precarious circumstances, whose fragility and isolation are all the more keenly felt at the end of the year.

Christmas dinner at Hôtel de Ville on December 24

Every year, a Christmas dinner is held at the Hôtel de Ville, hosted by the City of Montpellier and the Association Humanitaire de Montpellier (AHM34).

1,200 hot meals, prepared by teams from the City of Montpellier's central kitchen and 400 takeaway portions are provided by the Association Humanitaire de Montpellier, are served every year on the night of December 24 by a team of volunteers.

Volunteers are mobilized all year round by the AHM at the Relai des Solidarités Alimentaires opened by the City of Montpellier in January 2023 in the Port Marianne district.
