Golden Age Clubs

Various activities are offered to members of the Clubs de l'Âge d'Or run by the Centre Communal d'Action Sociale (CCAS) de Montpellier.

Some are free of charge, while others require a token contribution and are organized by the leaders of clubs specializing in various themes (creative hobbies, choir, music, etc.

).

The Golden Age card

What's it for?

The Âge d'Or card enables you to take part in numerous activities (trips, outings, conferences, etc.), workshops, animations and events (Zenith, Âge d'Or en fête, balls, etc.).)

It must be updated every year (school year) and can only be issued to Centre Communal d'Action Sociale (CCAS) de Montpellier (Service de l'Âge d'Or)

It also enables :

  • Register for sports activities (some require payment of the "Montpellier Sports" card)
  • Be part of one of the Clubs de l'Âge d'Or, places for activities, exchanges and conviviality
  • Participate in Âge d'Or highlights such as the Telethon, Semaine Bleue, Âge d'Or en fête etc.

Awarding conditions

2 mandatory conditions:

  • Be retired or have a disability recognition of at least 80% (present a retirement title or disability card)
  • Live in Montpellier (main residence)

Documents to be provided

Paper or dematerialized version:

  • Identity document
  • Retirement certificate (for young retirees) or disability card
  • Proof of address less than 3 months old for new Montpellier residents (either an EDF bill, gas, or health insurance certificate)
  • Your income tax notice for the current year

Rates

The card costs €5 per year for group 3 and 4 members. It's free for people in groups 1 and 2.

  • Clubs de l'Âge d'Or

Documents required in paper or dematerialized form:

  • A proof of address less than 3 months old (either a bill from EDF, gas, landline telephone, Internet access operator ...)
  • Your income tax notice for the current year
